If you want to actually be able to play through the game properly (without using the engine), I'm sure someone could make a DML to make all the enemies blind and deaf by attaching the blind and deaf metaprops to the Monster archetype.

I don't know why anyone would want to actually play through this game without combat, though.

I actually made it for someone already for the purpose of taking video of the levels with wandering enemies ignoring the player.

Here's the AI disabler mod. Load it with Blue Mod Manager in the usual way, above any other mods.

It just makes every AI blind and sets their team to neutral (I think the latter is necessary for security cameras/turrets).

SS1 had a "zero" combat difficulty that made all the enemies not attack and die in one hit.

could have sworn freshly spawned grubs ignore it.
Grubs patrol very randomly. It's easy to mistake their random bouncing around for tracking the player.

toggle will only work on AIs that already exist iirc.
No, Toggle AI Awareness makes the player invisible to all present and future AIs.

that would suggest editor issue/being broken. new clean SS2 install recommended.

I get no effect whatsoever. The enemies already in the map still attack me as normal.

I have found "Toggle AI Awareness" doesn't actually seem to work for me.

But "AI Sleep All" works perfectly.

you start the editor, load a map, load a dml, and then go ingame (Game/Game mode). return to the editor by pressing ALT+E once done with whatever needs to be checked.

Right, so I deactivate AI awareness in the 'Toggle' settings, and then load one of the dml files by typing 'dbmod_load missionfilename'? Sorry, I've never used the editor before. 😯

in the editor, you just load whichever level you want.

note that the editor will not load dmls automatically, you need to do it manually by typing dbmod_load into the command window lower right.

Wonderful! I'll definitely use this. Is there any way to skip levels though? That would still be useful. Thanks.  :)

usually you would do this in the editor. SS2tool can install it for you, tick the editor box during setup.

There's a small mod I'd like to test and I need to see all enemies in-game in a passive/non-hostile state. Is there a way to turn invisible or skip levels? Thanks.
