« on: 06. September 2024, 04:28:27 »Same here on Darkwood. I'm all good with isometric view. Very often used in RTS and turn based strategy games. All of Harebrained's games so far have all been in that view style.
If your dead set on a similar game but done in 3rd person I'd recommend "Rengoku 2" on the Sony PSP. Very similar game premise of a place you need to fight your way out, gaining parts / upgrades via tearing them off your opponents and plugging them onto yourself. Total hidden gem of a game.

« on: 05. September 2024, 19:13:43 »Perspective is no barrier to me, and I think it's silly it is for others. If the game design is excellent, then it's excellent. Just depends on that. So with that said, I played their shadowrun game it was a 7/10 at best, and I'd say that's the case for a lot of isometric cRPGs. Usually more concerned with role-playing and story than actual game design. So, will probably pass. But will keep an open mind/eye out nonetheless.
