My mod archive names (usually) don't include the version number because the filename is what's displayed in the mod manager as the mod name, and the version number isn't part of the name.
The version number is easily accessible via the readme.
Unstable Grenades updated to v1.2. Fixed script duplication issue causing inventory duplication. Could not replicate exploding in inventory issue, but added some safeguards to make it less likely to happen.
Reloading the grenade launcher using split duplicates the grenade. Youtube (can't link) : watch?v=SKeTxy2M9bg
Also when using this in SecMod, taking energy damage causes the grenades in your inventory to explode, including the prism/radium-prism grenades, and this does harm the player. Hand grenades, scramblers, and cesium bombs are not affected. ditto : watch?v=clfitX54Umc
and if you shoot a belt maybe some of them fly around and explode later or don't explode. so its chaotic and dangerous like real bombs, and if some of them get damaged where you can't put them in a gun later
that would be a more hardcore mod though, a fork, because it might not turn out to be fun.
System Shock 2 Unstable Grenades v1.2 October 3, 2024 by ZylonBane
- Requires SS2 NewDark patch v2.48 or higher. - Should be compatible with all fan missions, campaigns, and other weapon mods. - Can be activated mid-game. Deactivating mid-game might leave some ammo stacks stuck with an incorrect model.
The Many's corrosive influence has spread beyond just degrading the guns. Now it's degrading the grenades as well! Grenade ammo has become dangerously unstable, and will explode if damaged or dropped too far. Use this to your advantage to set explosive traps for your enemies.
Remember that you can use Alt-click in the inventory to split off individual grenades from stacks.
If you do set off a stack of grenades, every grenade in the stack will explode individually.
