I tried the final version and it worked fine for me, although it takes a long time to load on my netbook. You might want to post a comment to Earok's article, he's more likely to see it there.
Unfortunately, the game hits me with a "Memory access violation" whenever I try to actually play the game. The menu, intro-scroll, and editor work perfectly, but once I try to play a stage...
Just thought I'd mention a bug I found. On level 4:3, which I THINK is the bridge, if you are missing an engineer and you step out of the airlock and aquire one, you can't control him in first person. Instead he walks around but you still have the view of the last unit selected and the engineer can clip walls and he does not repair doors either. When you deselect him if he's in front of a door he will then start repairing it. You can still issue him orders but cannot control him in first person and he walks through walls basically.
Derelict is still in development, but the demo Eric "earok" Hogan has put up is already quite impressive in terms of sound and atmosphere. Derelict is a squad based FPS that draws from games like Space Hulk and the System Shock games. Earok will post updates on his blog where you will also find the latest beta. (As discussed on TTLG)
