Oh, heh, forgot about the history. That's bizzare; I don't know how it ended up like that. Thanks for fixing it.It was broken, double http and weird quotes, see the post history.
None, interestingly. However, all future episodes will be standalone versions, so it may be worthwhile to just download the Episode 2 pack now, even if you already have Episode 1.Any word on when the stand alone episode downloads will be available?
So there you go. She also said an announcement will be made when the separate download is available, so if you keep checking their website, you'll find out. We're focusing mostly on getting Episode 3 ready right now; I know we want to have a stand alone Episode 2 download, but I'm not sure when it will be ready.
What was wrong with my link?I fixed the link Enchantermon posted although it seems to me downloading the episodes from the tsl-game.com site is easier.
It's hard to say. I would recommend playing the original games first before delving into The Silver Lining. Fortunately, that's not such a tall order anymore; for $30 on GOG you can obtain the entire series fully playable on modern operating systems. You can also buy the King's Quest Collection from Vivendi on Steam or through Amazon and the like, though you may have to do a little fiddling with it to get the games to run flawlessly on Vista or 7 (and the collection doesn't include Mask of Eternity).Looks solid. Will newcomers to the series be able to understand and appreciate the game and the storyline?
