Warning Forever by Hikoza T. Ohkubo is the green shining prove that the shoot-em-up genre (Shmup) is still exciting.
This game does everything right: Retro-minimalistic graphics that explode in lights and colors, addictive gameplay, and some other things rarely seen before.
WF consists of bossfights, and nothing else. You also only have one weapon and there are no powerups or shields to catch. No enemy swarming patterns to remember, but lots of hardcore action.
Flying around these huge boss-enemies you'll be glad you can adjust your weapon in any direction and focus it precisely on any point you want to.
If you shoot the enemy from the front the next one will be more heavily armed at the front and so on. There's an evolutionary flow chart below.
In standard mode you fight against time instead of lives. That is you get 180secs at the beginning and you can win more by shooting down enemies or you might loose some time by being shot down yourself.
