I was an addict of Beats of Rage and the fantastic remake of Streets of Rage from a couple of years ago (which was blocked by Sega, but can still be found around). Lately I have found this one which is very good too:

"Beats of Rage" (BOR) was a fan created game engine in 2003-2004 by Senile Team that was inspired by Sega's "Streets of Rage" series of beat 'em up sidescrollers. In 2005 they opened up their source code and OpenBOR continued development.

So much for history. The point of BOR is that it can be customised to include new characters levels and such. What we have here is the old BOR engine from 2004 + the Kill Bill mod that was made for it. It should be playable out of the box. (Start KillBill.exe)

The game is very short and a lot of fun. Here's a gameplay video.
