does anyone know if having a save on the game from before you installed the mod would affect the mod functioning?
ADAOB is not compatible with previous savegames. SHTUP is.

Well, in that case I don't know what happened. (I should mention this was happening when starting a new game, not when loading that previous save. I have now perfected the sprint from the subway car to the cryo-chamber on the Von Braun) Perhaps the unzipper I was using was playing up (Izarc has a tendency to not bother unzipping all files sometimes for no reason). Perhaps It was all a hallucination brought on by too much sugary cereal and not enough sleep.

Whatever. Works now! And SHTUP's a great mod, so thank you.

Started another playthrough of this today, with SHTUP installed. My immersion was swiftly broken when I examined a packet of 'cheezee' crisps, only to be startled to find that they were actually intended to be called "Crack-O's".

I fixed the texture and made it look a bit nicer too:

Cool texture and a noob question - how can one incorporate this cool texture into one's game? :)

Third time's the charm.  Sorry for posting this in ADaoB and Four Hundred threads.
I found a texture that is not remade neither in Four Hundred nor in SHTUP. It is in obj.crf/txt16/exithall.pcx and I must say it sticks out like a sore thumb :)

The stripes should be thicker and the edges more rounded. Also, the HALLWAY is a little bit too stretched out, can be best seen between the A and the Y.

Otherwise very good. :)

This texture looks quite good in-game, definitely better than the original (at least for me). Proof:

I played a bit yesterday on Engineering deck and I noticed lots of low res in-game displays and strange thing was that I already saw hi-res versions of these displays in other places, so I have no idea why I saw old versions. Screens here:

this is a known issue, caused by the level not being available in a fully editable form. it will be fixed eventually.

There's already a SHTUP texture that's very similar to this one. I planned on just modifiying it.

This is not a SHTUP issue. Those are terrain textures. SHTUP is 99% object textures.

So much the better, I won't have to spend more time on it and the result will be consistent with the other signs then.

If this is terrain texture issue, then is there a chance that ACC can fix it in 400 mod? (most of the textures are already they in SHTUP, they are simply not displayed on terrain).

Why would ACC bother remaking all the monitor textures that I already remade for SHEMP?
Re: [Obsolete] SS2 SHTUP (Shock Texture Update Project)
67417f6a52b2f
I don't think that was the question, but whether ACC couldn't use your monitor textures on terrain. Maybe you already talked with him about it?

Haven't talked to him about it. As far as I know, once the SHEMP textures are removed from the community patch, SHEMP will be repackaged as a NewDark-only mod.

yeah. kinda ashamed that I didn't think about this earlier - as NewDark supports animated world textures, all that needs to be done is batch convert SHEMP gifs to pngs, modify filenames and create the mtls, dump everything into the FAM/tech folder, done. did the part you can see on the screenshot in about 15 minutes, the rest would require two more hours of work, give or take.
