new game for 2 mods, with "hard" dificult.
Can catch an attack becouse of agility modification in mod? all the two new games have been started with hard dificult, navy way, +1hack, +2endurance and +2 standard weapon. But tt seems like with secmod all the game runs faster, all doors opens faster and etc.
Also, in Alya mod hybrids allways trying to dodge your attack by stepping back when you attack them, you can see it in "fighting" part of video. Also they not only runs at you and attack, they moving to left and right side to overtake you and attack. It makes them not so stupit plants like in sec mod, but a real challange.

Anyway, it's bug, and ahould be fixed. Very annoying bug.

Thank you! It would be great if you can fix it! By the way tough hybrids much better thean "plants" anyway) And i'm also not the one who faced with this issue, in this threat - https://www.systemshock.org/index.php?topic=8466.0 nf3498gt also consider it. So I look forward to the changes :)

Put up an update which is mostly about improvements to Hydroponics levels including the save slot bug (the name for that area is Hydroponics Maintenance for now), I also moved the AR to Hydro4 since the LP-er had a point about no significant loot in that level and this also makes the new weapon distribution through Hydroponics a lot more even.
Hybrids are slightly more aggressive but that matter needs more attention since you can still run back without them attacking until you stop, if you have enough movement speed, most props don't seem to affect that behavior.

Here's some mesh files so you can fix the wrench clipping bug (fix included in the update) in a current run without installing a new version:

3.18 is up, the flamethrower's muzzle flame is back and you can use Repair to detach surgical keys by using the key and not the bed, so there's no repair dialogue whenever you heal anymore. newdark 2.45 is needed from now on.

I think it has something to do with the custom boss scripting, but sometimes there are either intense stutters or extreme fps drops that sometimes can be fixed by either saving and quitting and restarting and loading or just at random. The first instance where it happens is right after killing the psi rumbler. Another happened after killing some scripted boss after that once? Not all the time though.
The extreme fps drop happened after getting to the part just before getting shot into the many. Took out the turrets in the bridge part and went down the ramp and suddenly unplayable. *shrug*

Will take a look at all these issues, this "sliding doors swinging on hinges (like the wired door in engineering)." can't really be fixed, since that's a new door in a level where the terrain can't be modified, and sliding doors need a gap in the terrain to slide into.

Good catch, I saw the difficulty QVAR was set with value 2 on Hydro4, no idea why but I deleted it, will be included in the next patch

Yeah like heme said, the difficulty changes to normal upon entering Hydro 4. I was able to change the difficulty while in Hydro 4 and it worked, as noted by my health changing from 40 to 13. Upon leaving Hydro 4, I noticed that my health had shot back up to 40, and changing the difficulty did not alter the amount of health I had. I attempted to see if it carried over through some bug by getting myself killed, but when I spawned my max health was still at 40. I'm going to try a new save file and see if it changes things, let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to try out to get this fixed.

Also, is there any possible way to disable the alternate swing animation?

I'm out of ideas for the time being about the difficulty bug, maybe someone can take a look at the mission file and figure it out, otherwise I can't do anything about it while at work. Maybe try deleting everything to do with Hydro4 from the current folder.
For the swing you can use this file instead of the original one, alternate swing will probably become an optional later

Yes, he had a save just before entering the new Hydro level and used that.

I deleted the difficulty qvars from the mission, both "mission" and "campaign", what else could there be? Maybe someone else should have a look at that file, if there's nothing wrong with it then the player should probably just try again (get the file again) and it'll work, if they're still doing the run anyway

I did check and there's no difficulty qvars in the hub level (SHYDRO2) or in the new level, but the difficulty resetting bug is actually reproducible, I have no idea what is causing this bug.
