I just found out about Duskers. Watching some gameplay I couldn't help feeling reminded of another excellent game named Captain Forever. I saw the the deep space setting, the fluorescent graphics, the command line interface and got that same feeling of tinkering technological isolation. But it wasn't before I heard the first sounds that I was absolutely sure that this was the works of Farbs aka Jarrad Woods.
Only it turns out it isn't. Duskers is by a couple named Tim and Holly Keenan.

Does anyone know what the connection here is, if there is any?

Well, Farbs says there's no connection except him having played an early build of Duskers and he's excited to see where it goes. (So am I.) He's currently working with Blue Manchu / Card Hunter on a new project, which hasn't been announced yet.
