hello all...

Just followed instructions for the install of SS2 on XP given here; the game starts, opening video OK, loading screen OK, acessing screen OK, then blank screen and "bingbong" sound once. Esc key sends me back to desktop with an error message displayed: Your Video hardware is not supported by SS2.
My card is a Radeon 9600 w/128 ram. What do you think could be wrong?

Is you'reinstall mod ready? I'm not asking if your're using mods,This sounds like a problem I have had. Did you use the SS2 tool?

Sorry, lost my connection. Specs are

Win XP SP2, Athlon xp2400 2.0GHz, 768Meg Ram, ATI Radeon 9600 128k Ram.

I also found the thread by Gofer who seemed to have a similar problem solved by using a different CD. Your help to him suggested a corrupted shock2gam file? I have the file, 884KB...smaller than his.

We managed to restore artificial gravity for this deck, but neither the local array of sensors nor the interior lighting systems seem to be operative.
