How do you increase the damage creatures do? I know how to increase their HP, but I can't find any variable for their damage.

For example, was in MedSci earlier and - I could be wrong - a Shotgun Hybrid hit me with a shotgun blast for 1 point of damage. That's a little absurd. How can I increase that?

try looking around the AI's projectile [-676].

Heavier armors have a damage threshold on them, and Tank increases your physical damage threshold by 1 as well, you are supposed to become immune or almost immune to the attacks of the weakest enemies at some point in this mod, this is balanced by the new strong enemies like the crystal shard and grenade launcher hybrids.

Okay, I'm in the AI projectile string, but what variable actually increases its damage?

EDIT: Also, if I want to edit monster melee damage, where would that be?

sources is what you want to tweak, most likely.
6742f9bee5082
I'm sorry, but for which part in my post was that a response to?

EDIT: Sources under Act/React? And then edit Intensity?

sources/standard impact should be responsible for the base damage the projectile does.

try Monster Melee Weapons [-169] for the melee damage.

So, for example, I found Lead Pipe, but what setting do I want? I found Base Damage but that's at 0, which doesn't seem right.

I assume it's sources/impact again?
6742f9bee54cb
Changing WeaponBash didn't seem to affect the Pipe damage. Is it WeaponStim?

only one way of finding out.
6742f9bee576a
What sort of math is responsible for the damage I'm seeing? I was only getting hit for 2 points by a Maint. Bot, so I tried raising Electricity and that didn't do it. Then raised Electricity to 10 and ShakeStim to 300 just for testing, and the Maint. Bot now does 5-6 points per shot of its welder. I'm very confused!  :lordy:

EDIT: Where is the setting where I can tweak Protocol Droid explosion damage?

In the unlikely event that no one saw my edit, where is the variable for Protocol Droid explosion damage?

Sorry for double-posting but trying to find the setting in the editor is really annoying.

If you'd bother typing "protocol" into the object hierarchy filter box, literally the first result would be what you're looking for.
6742f9bee5ca7
I've been to those settings, but what controls their explosion damage? That's what I'm having issues with.

I thought maybe it was Sources under Act/React but that didn't seem to do anything.

the corpse linked explosion is what you want.
6742f9bee5f1d
Would that be Protocol Droid (-174) ->  Corpse: Incendiary Explosion (-1425)?

6742f9bee5fefvoodoo47

6742f9bee6068
yes. do note that if modifying the explosion, everything that uses that explosion will receive the changes.
6742f9bee617d
Yeah, I figured as much but wasn't sure. Thanks.
6742f9bee62ca
Wait, does that mean things like Hybrid shotguns are linked with my shotgun damage and vice versa?
6742f9bee64f3
I dunno, thought that if the explosions were linked maybe the guns would be too. Glad to see that isn't the case.
6742f9bee6610
So, I'm in ShockEd right now and I'm trying to lower the damage I do with weapons. I'm in Object Hierarchy > Physical > Weapons > Conventional. For example, the AR. I'd like to tone it down a bit but can't find the variable for its damage. Same for the shotgun.

look for their linked projectiles.
