This mod looks very interesting.

I'm using Rebirth, SHTUP, SHMUP, ADaob, Zygo randomizer ADaob comp and Tactical pistol ADaob comp.

I suppose that ADaoB should be turned off as many of its fixes are included in Alya, should I deactivate Randomizer and Tactical Pistol as well ?

You'll have to turn off everything that includes a shock2.gam file. ADaoB and the Randomiser do. Not sure about the pistol.

EDIT : I confirm, Impossible difficulty is a real struggle, it's like I lack of everything, well done :D

Yeah, if you want to finish impossible you have to be careful developing... So far people have reported it finished with Hack+Standard, Heavy+Psi, Energy+Exotic. Some stuff was actually too easy (like Shodan), that will be changed in the next revision.

I'm going to attempt a Technical+Weapon Impossible game. I'l let you know how that goes. It looks like it's already been done, but it's the only build I enjoy playing. Love hacking robots.

I'm trying Hack/Standard, I'm on engineering right now my pistol is almost destroyed, only 2 standard so no shotgun for now, 2 hack.
I'll try to reach 3 standard for the shotgun, well I'll have to :)

For now, robots are way too easy to hack in the late game. Will be rectified. But, yeah, I love that too :).

You should really push for the Shotgun, otherwise you're due to get in trouble. You should probably have picked Repair too, although Maintenance is quite viable.

We got a bug here !

Ok I'm using Rebirth, SHTUP, SHMUP, tacticool ADaoB compatible and Alya.

In MedSCI after hacking security, I tried to destroy a security cam and I could hear the sound it makes it spots you but no alarm, security still hacked.

When security has returned to a normal state security cams lights remained red and no more alarms.

I've reactivated Alya but the bug remains : no more alarms


EDIT : Solved, that was because of the "no spawn inc cams" option at the beginning

You probably either have the wrong gamesys or medsci1/2.mis. Compare those files in your SS2 dir with those in the mod's archive.

There is one thing though: when you activate alarm-free grace period it remains indefinetely activated if you save/load. If I recall this can be fixed by NVPlayerScript, but NV is writing scripts only for TF so I think the problem is rectified only in mods which can use that script version. The script cannot be used in Alyamod because it will not work if psi powers' costs are any different then 1 for Tier 1, 2 for Tier 2, etc. And since psi powers are horribly unbalanced I chose rather to balance them then to remedee a few bugs.

edit: btw, you were on eng, and now back on med?

I restarted a game, it has been a while since I finished Shock 2 so I screwed the first part and I was kind of struck in ENG, now it's getting better :)

Still Impossible difficulty but less mistakes and waste of hypos :D

EDIT : Shall I reinstall the game and mods ?

Well it can bring some difficulty actually, I hacked my first bot with Alya today, the one in Med Sci and I was very surprised when this bot shot a security cam and set off the alarm °_°

My only complaint with this is it's not friendly with SHTUP V.6.

This looks awesome, I look forward to playing with it. Is there any chance of making it compatible with the randomiser though? (I suppose that might make thing even harder though, since the net number of items I find with the randomiser is always considerably lower than it would be otherwise.

Limited randomising will be included in AlyaMod2. Compatibility cannot be achieved for randomising is done through mis editing.

Gah! I'm stuck - Just got into the athletic sector of rec, opened the door to basketball court, backed out while killing the rumbler and now the door to get back in is stuck. I presume it sticks to trap you in with the rumbler and then unsticks so you can get back out, unfortunately I've managed to miss the unstick trigger (maybe it's on the other side of the door?) and I'm locked out of the court. I also moronically quicksaved after I killed the rumbler, though I'm fortunate enough to have a save back in the mall - I have completed the game without making any permanent saves before, luckily not this time.
