Hockland may be my youtube username, but I've started a lets play of System Shock 2. Though there is no voice overs, so it's more just a straight play of the game.

maybe go with at least some voiceover, voiceoverless LP's are a bit boring. no need to talk all the time, but at least some commentary wouldn't be too bad (especially if you find something that's fixed, or something that's unfixed).

Part 2 is uploading as we speak. Took your advice voodoo and plugged in my microphone and talked during it. Originally intended to just talk a bit at the start only, but then on doing the video ended up talking a fair bit about my views on the game and it's systems, the music, the SHTUP mod, NewDark etc etc.

Game crashed on me 4 times during this one. Barely ever had the game crash on me in all of my play throughs. So for it to happen that many times in 1 area was very annoying. I must have a bad install or something.

It might also be the game being unhappy with being recorded. Some games seem to fuck up a lot more when there is a screen capture software running in the background also.

Is that the crash.dmp file? It's like 391mb. Seems a bit large for a crash file, but I can attach it if you want.

yeah, that's the one. it should compress really nicely, so you should be able to do that and attach.

off the bat, you are running slightly outdated, 2.47 instead of the current 2.48. would recommend repatching with the latest tool.

Thats weird. I downloaded the latest ss2tool and just ran that to get everything.

that indeed is weird. I'll double check whether things are ok on our side. maybe you have shared an old log? run the game and alt-tab out of it, you should see the version on the tab (or check the exe properties).

Definitely wasn't an old log. Checked the file date which was yesterday. And that matches the time and date I last played it.
