there's been a guy over at the steam forums who was talking about broken T2 fog, but left before I could get anything useful from him. possibly a gpu/driver issue? or manual file tampering - basically, popping the ND package into his install before playing just to make sure "everything is 1000% up to date". yeah, I've seen people doing such things.
