I could not for the life of me work out what the hell it was meant to be, I just guessed it was a beauty magazine...  :/

Is that the reason the high-def version was never made? I just figured nobody could find a good image to use.

Ok. Here is my first submission!
Well...

They're all only 256-color instead of true-color.
Aliased text.
Misspelled "nail polish" as "nailpoish".
Missing space in "weight loss".
A couple of the images are very obviously of well-known models.

Look... this last magazine cover is something I'm capable of doing myself. What SHTUP needs assistance with is stuff that's beyond my limited artistic capability. Stuff like organics and more complicated textures that involve lots of drawn detail.

I know this is your baby, so to speak, and I truly appreciate your comments. Please remember that this work was submitted simply as a means of adding something to the SS community.

You have just made it clear in your last post what you really require help with. If that was made clear some time ago then that would have allowed me, and others, to submit useful works. The old spreadsheet and progress page links are dead, so I can't check them to see what properties are in need of updating or are the highest "priority".

In 2010 there was a request for help but "stuff was happening". Then you chewed out another member, XenoSpyro (in 2012), who was offering assistance to help the mod to completion as they seemed very keen to help get the ball rolling.

This is the internet, and the saying goes, "deal with it", so I am.

I apologize for soiling your thread, I'll be making my own.

Your contribution to the SS community seems to have been very well received and you deserve all the praise you have been given.

Well done and good luck with your mod!

Is the sign outside the restaurant on the Recreation Deck supposed to have kind of a double effect? I looks kind of odd, but maybe that's the effect that the artist was going for.

LOL. OK, what pic format is expected? Would it have embedded if it was a smaller size? Jpeg is a compressed format, so if I converted it to that first, it would be acceptable?

ETA: I uploaded a jpeg. Size was only 91 kb. Edited the post with the link. Still doesn't show up as an embed. So what else is wrong?

You're not posting an image, but the link to a page on imgur. See, it lacks a file extension. Add ".jpg" and it will work.

I've got SHTUP Beta 6 and in screenshots I've seen here there are more textures updated than there are when I play the game. I'm also using Four Hundred and Vurt's goo mods and weapon texture mods.

Ah, I see. Too bad I'm already 6 hours into the game, don't feel like starting again. It looks like ADaoB is going to morph into the Shock Community Patch. I guess I should have waited before playing the game again!

Well, I suppose I could start again but when will the new patch be out? And will it work happily with SHTUP, Vurts mods and Four Hundred?

If you wait just a liiittle bit more, SHTUP will actually get the better looking screens in an upcoming update. That means you won't have to start all over again.
Also, fun fact. The new screens are in fact a mod within a mod. SHEMP it is called and was implemented in ADaoB somewhile back.

SS2 is a relatively short game. But the time SCP is released you'll have already finished and be ready for another go.

You can set the time to stay logged in when you log in, including setting it to "Forever", if your are on a private computer.
When posting as a guest you couldn't use your registered username, because registered usernames are protected.
