Posting any song by Juno Reactor in a cyberpunk thread is basically cheating since the band is pretty much in its core cyber and punk  :thumb:

However... This album is often overlooked even by JR's fans which is both puzzling and outrageous to me! This is by far the most traditional cyberpunk album they have released so far.

Old but good. I feel like it should now be extended and updated with a few more paragraphs that include stuff like the pandemic and recession, the renewed cold war rethoric, the Trump era, including the Capitol attack and probably a few other things.

Expansion due out shortly. Looking forward to it.

Yes and with it, allegedly, the main game will also receive a substantial overhaul in the form of patch 2.0. I'm interested to see how much they have managed to fix since my one and only playthrough, right after release.

That first run went surprisingly smooth and bugfree but even if I factor out all the disastrous reports from others, broken promises and squashed expectations surrounding it, the experience was a mild disappointment. I had fun with it but the main story did not really impress and the side stuff started to feel samey after a while, not least due to bad balancing and the too superficial open world elements.

I didn't feel the urge to start another run until now but that combination of patch 2.0 with some really fresh content actually does make me look forward to a second one. Since I believe the expansion also ups the HW-requirements, this might still be a long way off for me until I have built a new PC. For now, my spare time goes to Baldur's Gate 3, which is fine.

Reminds me of the debate around Deus Ex - Human Revolution looking too golden brownish, with people showing photographs of real world city lighting and comparisons of screenshots with different kinds of color filters. And indeed, I was so much happier with the blue'ish look of the original and Mankind Divided.

I'm currently watching and very much enjoying "Tokyo Vice" in which Michael Mann is also envolved.
