I almost hate to bag on this guy because he's obviously enjoying the game so much, but my god he is such a glorious idiot. Over the course of this video, he never figures out:
  • Leaning
  • Implants
  • The hotkey to change ammo
  • That the Notes panel exists (so he keeps replaying emails for codes)
  • That the automap exists. In fact I only saw him check the map once.
  • That alcohol drains your psi points
  • The concept of organizing your inventory
  • The concept of a full inventory (he keeps trying to pick things up, seemingly ignoring the repeated "Item dropped. Item dropped. Item dropped.")

He picks OSA for his first run (sigh) then barely ever uses the wrench. Cryokinesis for everyone! Between that and chugging all the booze he finds, he rapidly runs out of psi.

He uses the hotkey for reading unread emails a few times after the game first tells him about it, then completely forgets about it and uses the interface to read emails for the rest of the run.

And then he takes about three hours to notice the bar at the top of the screen that identifies things. Before that there's several moments of "Why can't I break this window?" as the top bar displays "Unbreakable window".  O_o

So pretty much a normal first run then. I remember making at least a few of those mistakes myself and I learned about the notes panel only through TTLG.

No. I've watched many blind plays of SS2, and this guy is something special.

still less cringe than that guy who didn't figure the alerts out until deck4.
