Problem Loading a New Area

I'm in the Medical Area of the ship right now, early on in the game, about 45 mins to an hour. I got a key card to move to another part of the ship but when I right click the door button and the load screen comes up, the game crashes right after. Any idea what could cause this? My specs are in another thread on this page but I'll repost them:

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.0GHz
Memory: 2048MB RAM
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT
Sound Card: SoundMAX HD Audio O
OS: Windows XP Home Edition 5.1

It's patched and as far as mods, I have SHTUP, Straylight, Deep Fried Beer, the Windows XP fix and DDFix.

Afraid to say this crash is likely caused by ADaoB. The current version has an issue with level loading but there's a fix in the thread.
