Rebirth issues

This is probably in the wrong section, so sorry about that.

I have Rebirth installed on my computer, and the sprites all seem to be running fine, but that preview that is always displayed for the mod (you know the one, with the midwife and the laser rapier) looks nothing like the textures I got when I downloaded the mod. Is that just an annoying exaggeration in previews, or did I somehow download the wrong thing? (IGN has that preview image right next to the download that I used)

You're talking about the midwife, of course.  The screenshot in question is using Cyberblutch's original midwife texture.  You've downloaded the more recent Complimented version of Rebirth, which includes a different texture for the midwife based on the one from the original game, which looks much better and scarier than Cyberblutch's version.

This is the picture I'm seeing displayed along with the download for Rebirth. The in-game model I'm seeing looks much more jagged and rather unrealistic by comparison.

If the model doesn't look right either, then maybe you didn't install it properly?

No, that's the model I've got. I must have just set the graphics weird or something... the hands tend to look like triangles.

Since the texture in the screenshot above is derived from the original Midwife model, it sounds like Rebirth is in fact not installed correctly.

Of course, with a screenshot of your own we wouldn't have to guess...
