SS2: SS2MM Error

I'm having an error opening SS2MM. I go on it and it says that it encountered an error and had to close. I've tried reinstalling it and that didn't work. I've got the original SS2 CD and I've installed the SS2-Tool. Could anyone help me?

Try older version (0.0.3.39) of SS2MM. BTW, is your OS Windows XP with SP3 applied into it?

no i've got Xp SP2 and also Ubuntu but i use XP to play SS2
