Can automap ever be added to the final 1/4th of the game?

I've wondered this ever since my very first playthrough.

It's probably fitting that the final level has no automap, the Body of the Many level might at least have partial/vague automap as your cyber-rig tries to cope with irregular space, and I don't know of any reason the Rickenbacker shouldn't have shipped with proper automap except LG running out of time.

With all the brilliance the SS2 community has come up with over the years, is it even possible to address this?

to make it short, it's done and it's been done for a while, and it will be included in SCP beta5 once it's finally out.

Rick only though, logically there should be no map for the meaty tunnels or something that only exists in Shodan's mind.
