Mods (in this order):
* voodoo47's SS2 SCP minimod: Real Hybrid Shotgun
* voodoo47's SS2 Repairman
* voodoo47's SS2 Object Shrink
* SHTUP-ND
* Olfred's fixed objects
* SS2 Community Patch (SCP) Beta 4

My first OSA play through of the game. And yes I know SCP is now up to beta 4, but I'd already started the play through and several hours in when I thought to check that stuff. I'd have to restart the play through to update it properly (according to the readme).

psst, don't tell anyone but you actually can get away with updating mid-play. there may be a few anomalies on maps you have already visited, but that shouldn't prevent you from progressing.

As of part 2 updated SCP, Real Hybrid Shotgun and repairman to latest versions. Only negative being that some of the hybrid's now appear without a visible shotgun. Only some which is the odd bit.

What I'm enjoying so far, is the COMPLETE change in play style with OSA. Have to be far more stealthy and careful in what you do. Choose your battles carefully, do research into what is the best psi abilities to go for, make use of whatever you can to take out enemies that via psi abilities alone are difficult to take out (eg robots). In one section I tried to use the repulsor lifts to take out a few.

new spawns should be fine once you murder the shotgunless ones. if you are dead sure they are not pre-update spawns, drop a save.

Was definitely a couple in engineering and medical which I had been up to just before updating mods. Just moved onto Hydro, if I spot one I'll be sure to attach a save.

you did crash a few times, do you still have the crashdumps?

Just awaiting it to attach to a post in .7z form.

do you remember from where this crash is? like going from hydro1 to hydro2 for example.

Not sure honestly. It's been a week since I last played. Last map I went through was Operations.

With a mid-game gamesys change, my only surprise is that you aren't getting more crashes.

once a fresh map is entered, there should be next to no difference.

The engine certainly wasn't written to support switching to a different gamesys within the same campaign. It's a miracle that it works at all, especially when he backtracks to maps played before he installed SCP. Really should have just started over.

from what I have tried, stability did not seem to be much of an issue, but yeah, it's not recommended, no argument there.

I've only been experiencing issues in levels/maps already visited prior to the mod update. Rest have all been fine. Just played through Recreation without any issues.

also, obj shrink is not required when SCP is active, the new object sizes have been implemented since.. beta3 I think?

Run finished. Really fun playing as OSA. Plays so different to the other 2 classes.

it may be worthy of note that while Repairman was loaded, no item that the mod makes repairable has actually been repaired.

67428e4105b0aicemann

67428e4105b54
Correct. This was a PSI run. The mod wasn't relevant as to play as PSI is to play the game with some limitations placed. My focus was on PSI abilities and improving base stats. I did pop some points into repair towards the end but not enough to pop the med bed things off.

If you pay attention I did repair one replicator in the BOTM section. I tend to just leave my mod loadouts as is, regardless of play style intended.
