Also, just want to say, if you know how old games work, you can imagine that stuff got leaked. Try getting a release in a store with box art within the correct time period. There are also game magazines too.

All I am saying is that maybe someone saw a picture somewhere or that very similarly minded people developed the graphics.

I see this as having around a 5% chance

I read you have to work with the warehouse, the cardboard people, the CD-rom people, the magazine people.. usually by snail mail back then I would imagine. Stuff probobly went out the door 1 month after the project was started. Try keeping investors happy.. you need to sing and dance for them in the conventional way.

Getting back to the original question and ignoring the loony bird, I'd say the Max Headroom TV series, which was really trying to catch the leading edge of the cyberpunk wave.
