Audio Enhancement?

I see that ChildOfKarras made a mod for Thief that improves the audio. I wonder if something similar has been made for SS2? After all they use the same audio format and engine, even share some sound effects. Could be a start?

No. Have you ever noticed any sound effects where there's audible hiss? I haven't.

Unlike Thief, SS2 seems to be much smarter about how its audio was compressed. Pretty much only audio logs, emails, and AI barks use ADPCM, while sound effects seem to be mostly 16-bit PCM 22kHz, with occasional drops down to 8-bit PCM and even ADPCM when those lower-bitrate formats could be used without compromising the perceptual quality.
