Just a small sketch of what a remake of System Shock 2 could look like.
I made it in a couple of months.
Half of the mechanics don't work, just a showcase.
I don’t planned to finish it (well, unless I get money from a Nightdive)

This is outstanding, truly.

In less than a minute I was convinced that you'd do a better job remaking this game.

I'm pretty set in my ways with this game because the original SS2 aesthetic is cemented in my head, so it's hard to look at more modern renditions with an open mind but the way you've done it is very faithful.  I especially like the audio logs with their 3d portraits, the attention to set design, including some of your own additions, the smooth NPC animations and some of the 3d work like shodan, xerxes and the rumbler at the end (nice way to end the vid btw).

RocketMan, well, I love this game. I trying make close to the original, and modern in the same time.
This game definitly need a remake. But not any remake. Of magnificent, or not at all.

Nice work. A littlle too bright for my liking, but beyond that a great showcase.

I'd prefer this aesthetic for sure.

it's ok for (I'm guessing) a one man job. have to admit stuff actually working is quite impressive. not too keen on the hdr, blur, pinky hue, bleached textures and everything shaking though.

"What post-processing effects would you like to use in your SS2 remake?"

Impressive texturing work, but whoever did this seems to have forgotten that the Von Braun is literally a brand-new starship. All the wear and weathering makes it look like it was abandoned decades ago.
