Colourless SPOON 1.01 is a fully working mod (no need for the old zip), load with the modmanager after you have patched up with the SS2tool. A spoon will be spawned in every kitchen that has a large double sink/food preparation station - should work with vanilla, SCP, fan missions etc. The Spoon doesn't replace the wrench, but the functionality is identical.

Here's Colourless' Spoon. The first ever custom melee weapon mesh for a Dark Engine game. As announced on TTLG and Colourless own page.

Colourless who is most famous for his guide on how to create new biped meshes for Dark Engine games made this spoon weapon in 2001 as a practical joke.

The original release (SS2_Colourless_SPOON.zip): He released the files on his page but as they were you couldn't use them ingame. I renamed the files for the wrench's file names so you will have the spoon instead of the wrench for your first melee weapon. Mind you, the spoon has no world model (nor usemode-icon), so you won't notice a difference until you put it to use by spooning out hybrid brain. This on the other hand is much fun.
I also applied the metallic spoon texture.
