SHTUP Beta 6 Vs. HOTU Version

Sorry to be a pain in the ass, but is there any way to run SHTUP on the Home Of The Underdogs version? I Do everything as per instructions, but I cannot get the game to work, it just crashes on the start.

So what am I doing wrong? I shouldn't have screwed anything up in INSTALL.cfg, there are sixteen CRF files which I've placed in res folder and so on... Just as I said, eveything done per instructions. So what's the catch?

Maybe you could start by giving some information about your system and what you did exatcly to get it running...?

It sounds like you manually tried to make the game mod ready? I suggest you download the SS2 Tool and follow the typical procedure for HOTU in that thread.

My operating system is WinXP SP2, my specs are 1GB RAM and GeForce 6600. You're right, I've manually tried to get the game mod ready. I'll try the mod tool, thanks.
