Console controller issues?

I want to buy this game on console but upon doing some research I see posts about basic controls not functioning. All the posts I see about this are months old. Did the console port ever get these issues fixed?

You don't mention which game you mean - do you mean System Shock Remake for the consoles (it's the only console version of a System Shock game)? I've played through the Playstation 4 version of the game, and the controls are fine. The game does have some bugs, the worst being that it deleted some of my game-saves, so if you play it then save regularly, and make several different save-games (at least four or five).

The game is fully playable, and works well with the controller, at least on the PS4, I have no idea about other versions of the game.
