That was really cool though the atmosphere kinda faded when it started pouring on the HL2 sounds, still interesting, that feel and environment at the start would have made for a great movie/game, especially if it never really started throwing monsters at you.

I think the first person camera is pretty amazing, how it manages to look completely authentic with the hasty panning and still always focuses the right things at the right moments. Also great attention to details. Although that makes me wonder even more, why they didn't get rid of the fact that the character comes from "van ZWAAIJ AUTOSERVICE bv". It's so obvious a pointer at the reality outside of the story frame that I can only imagine they left it in for chuckles and local fame.
