'troid is Atari's Asteroids bred with a modern Treasure shooter. A multiplier gameplay mechanic turns levels into complex risk-reward scoring opportunities. Extreme bullet dodging skills required for the highest scores. Rocks, Pulse-Rocks, J-Fish, Spinners, Gates, Snakes and Shields conspire against you.

Now I've stated in the past that I don't like the Asteroids controls much ... in roguelikes. But when it's an abstract shiny shooter with vocoder voice samples there's not much I can do. But play.
