I'm Guilty Spark a respected halo modder/mapper and i thought modding system shock 2 would be a piece of cake.....*weeps in embarasment* Well i need some help with a mod i'm making: System Shock 2: Bioshock Conversion. I know this seems pretty far fetched but i'm confident i can do it, with help from you guys of course.

First thing i want to do is add a visible lower body model to your character, so that when you look down you see from about your stomach down to your feet. I always hated fps games that didn't give you a body to look down at. can this be done?

*UPDATE*
I am currently getting rid of the Psi Amp so when your in psi mode you only see your hand, like in bioshock. Is there anybody kind enough to remodel the hand for me, I would do it but my pc does not want to cooperate with the 3ds to .bin converter programs. The hand should be posed roughly like this: Image: http://image.com.com/gamespot/images/2007/features/hardware/bioshock_graphics/bioshock006.jpg DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT.

I'm not sure what you're trying there is even possible (or worthwhile). That is a complete feature conversion.
But some things could be relatively easy to accomplish and would fit into the System Shock universe, eg the way invisibility works: You're only invisible as long as you don't move.

If I would have to guess, I'd say that TF probably will do that in his SecMod (if it ever comes out). If I'm wrong take that as a hint TF. :)

ok, i have got just a hand and no psi amp so thats good and i'm adding the lighning effects to the hand skin. I know it would not be that woth while but i have a lot of time on my hands being homeschooled and that takes like 4-5 hours a day then i do my chores(trash, firewood, ect) then i have nothing better to do so i will use some of my spare time to do this conversion. Just for fun basically. Could anyone tell me how to create models and inject em into the game? I have a Big Daddy of a surprise for everyone. Ooops! have I said to much?

Is there a way to alter the "current" file to, say, skip a level?

Search the TTLG Thief Editor's Guild forum. Everything there is to know about the Dark Engine is somewhere in there.

A hint, the Rumbler model might be just what you need for the Big Daddys :)

Why on earth would you want to play Bioshock in System Shock 2?! Why not just play Bioshock?

Shouldn't it be the other way around?
