Go into your systemshock2 folder and look for files called user.bnd and user2.bnd and open them with windows notepad then you can the make the changes in their as you wish.

Windows notepad doesn't save the linebreaks correctly and thereby breaks your file. Use a decent editor like Notepad++ or PSPad or Crimson Editor instead. They're all free.
