°bioshock..wanted to post this here ages ago, but I always get distracted by something and end up forgetting. until now, that is.

ok, as some of you might be aware, Timeslip has made a fake xlive.dll for Bioshock 2. the file will allow you to play the singleplayer (and save the game) without gfwl installed. it can be downloaded from his site (links are on the left panel).

enjoy a gfwl free life for just a bit more..

no protection has been broken or circumvented, so I would say it is not illegal, but I'm not a lawyer, and it may depend on the country where you live as well..

Ah nevermind, updating 7zip fixed it.
