Also, the crappy material system is at it again: the "purple-band" walls in Command SHOWS THROUGH, it's quite visible when you walk by the surgery bed, near the water fountain... Just to let you know I'm aware of it.

This. I know, don't worry...
EDIT: Okay, It's entirely my fault. I had two kinds of annoying bugs lately (using PNG for alpha instead of TGA sometimes cause problems for me and copying the content of an included file instead of including the file also produces different results). It was neither of these this time.

You install it just like AccFam_17: just unzip it in DataPermanentMods. It contains the screens and the air bubble particle (the ones in Xerxes cooling tubes) -- these things should be handled by SHTUP when it's out, that's why it's no longer included in 400...

The files were removed from the other package, so there's no conflict at all; the order/priority shouldn't matter.

turns out there is a typo in AccFam_17\Fam\_ACC\MW0039.inc (WM0039 instead of MW0039, causing strange things to happen with MW0039 texture right behind the guy on station), to fix, delete the contents of the file, and copy paste the following code;

No. I don't have the game installed currently.
But there were new visuals for the rad pipes in Engineering. They are now gone and the old and ugly ones are back with three frame animations.

You mean the green goo above your head in the Fluidic Tunnels?  You're right: I just checked and I must have messed up something when I renamed the files, I'm going to fix that. Thanks!
EDIT: Rename "Liquid_Nuke.inc" to "GOO.INC", that should fix it.
EDIT: Yeah, except you don't have SS2 installed -- but assuming it is, that should fix it.  :D

New release much appreciated.

Does the RCK023.png (looks great - brighter is good  :) ) need to be added into v18, or are you just showing off your meticulous handiwork?

Also noticed v18 does not have a "Bitmap" folder, as all the previous versions have had. Is this folder no longer needed?

And the "readme" file included in v18 doesn't give any details about what's new  -  so go ahead and  blow your horn !

I think RCK023 was introduce in r16? Anyay, you can replace the texture provided in the archive with this one if you want; I toyed a bit around with the idea of changing some of them, but on the other hand I want to stick to the original content so...

The Bitmap folder has been missing for two updates too: you can still have it through the second archive ("removed content"), it contains the bubble sprite, used for particles.

(Unless I uploaded the wrong stuff again, changes are listed after line 31 in the readme)

1. OK, I've added the new "RCK023.png" located in the "Fam\_AC" folder. But, in the "Fam\Ricken_2" folder, there's a "rck023.pcx" that looks like the old type. Does a problem arise if the two RCK023 images do not look the same?

2. Sorry, hadn't noticed that the "bitmap" folder had been removed a while ago.

3. For the readme file, I was thrown off by the heading "FOUR HUNDRED RELEASE 18 (in progress)" and took "WHAT'S NEW SINCE RELEASE 17" as "WHAT'S NEW IN RELEASE 17".

Am excited about your comment in the "WHAT'S NEXT:" paragraph, ".....  Beside that, things are coming. Yeah, definitely. And stuff too! Don't forget stuff."  -  throw all the stuff at us that you can muster, we can handle it.

Although the file names are the same, with different extensions, the images are different.

The first image is the new RCK023.png . The second image is rck023.pcx. Ignore the .jpg extension - I had to convert it so that it's viewable in the forum.

The image override priority is DDS, PNG, TGA, BMP, PCX, GIF and finally CEL. The PNG file will load first, don't worry.
