Glados?
Who is Glados?, I ask!
There are alot of comparisons of Shodan and Glados, but it should be more than adequate to let the Gunman Chronicles A.I. be an competitor to Shodan.

When you first arrive at the station under her command, she is fighting you with everything she has. Robots, lasers: You name it!
Finally, when her station is about to be blown to pieces, she is willing to cooperate with you. The enemies stop shooting at you.
You then arrive at the A.I. mainframe. She is able to concentrate her whole self into one portable device.

Now you carrie her with you. On other stations she can take over control by just let you plug her into a socket.

Later she even manifests in a humanoid shape. Strangling people and working on consoles at the same time is no problem for her.

Yeah, she has big...arguments to achieve collaboration

Glados? Who is this Glados? Can she turn into a giant battle robot?

I think not!

This is funny. I've played this game a lot of time ago and completely forgot about its contents except for that memory container keeping the AI. Ive passed the last maybe ten years trying to remember what  game it was but without luck mainly because I did remember there were similarities with my belowed System Shock. As far as I remeber the game wasn't that good overall, but it had various firing modes for each weapons, and now that I'm aware of it, nice cyberpunk contents. I completely forgot it was GMC, thanks for this, now I can stop searching.

You should give the game another go. It's actually quite entertaining.

I'll do it! Mainly because I recall near nothing of the game.
I just want to buy an original US release. I' had a look over eBay and I found that all the viable options were a bit costly including S&H to Italy. So I'll wait for a cheap complete one to pop up and buy it the next year since Kickstarter and now Chris Roberts's new game made me a poorer guy, a lot poorer.

This is a good game for half-life fans, but it was hugely flawed.
For example, it has no replayability (other than re-experiencing the cool bits) and the multiplayer isn't paticularly interesting.
Other than that it has a fantastic atmosphere and is one of the only 'space-western' video games i've ever played (although it's got nothing on Mace Griffin, that game fucking rocked).

Gunman Chronicles is a great game I must say! I've played it in 2000 when i was released, and it was really cool! Recommend to any HL fan.
