My philosophy with tutorials, is that 1) everything new has to be documented. It doesn't 2) have to be an actual tutorial or a demo action, and also 3) the player has to be able to ignore it... but somewhere the information has to be present.

I had to tell people that the secondary fire mode of the stasis gun, explodes the pre-existing stasis field. Having Marie explain it seemed strange, since you're a soldier (albeit memory-less). So I showed the thing in action during the second memory. Which however can be skipped... should one prefer to get a lot of cybermodules instead of enjoying my cute little vids.

It's just a video. You get these as reward for following the Second Quest's good path. But this one, is actually a convoluted way to show players that the Stasis Gun has a damaging secondary fire! In the actual level, the Stasis Gun just sounds zap\boom:

But the humans with Zygo's models are used elsewhere. Now you'll laugh... in my mod, you cross "tears in protoreality" which connects the timeline with another. So on the Rickenbacker there's allied mutinees, and in OP4 you have to kill Bronson and her security.

This is the funniest one. Ever. So, in the mod I already had: the bad ending, the neutral ending, the good ending and the perfect ending. I naturally desidered to add the false ending too. It's titled The Last Temptation of Goggles, and I stopped this close from peppering the area with the cardboard "I love U" hearts from the brothel in Rec 3.

I am still genuinely interested in the mod however, because it's System Shock love and what you have posted looks kinda cool

Yes, it's taking too much and I'm a bit burnout lately. But we're in the final phase: it's taking roughly one day of playtests per deck, and one of fixes for that deck (we're at Rec).

My favorite ending is the neutral one, self-destructing the ship. I always wanted to do that.

When you have 5 endings, you can spare a couple! Yeah, there's no thread yet... it takes a lot of time to make this thing.

No info about my mod are being released before the official thread, but sometimes I post a funny video in here to vent some stress (your mileage might vary with funny ofc).
