Well I updated my settings and here are sum new shots to show what I did. I basically jest tried to balance out what surfaces are/were effected. As I got to t he part in the game where I needa fight off the many to go further up with the elevator and I realised that my previous settings in that part of the game was making bloom still swallow my view greatly.

With the new change I did it looks much better to me.

Personally, I find it way too saturated. I like my shadows black.
A bit like the "WoW gayness" episode when the first Diablo 3 screenshots were released: when there is no logical source of coloured lighting, try to avoid over-saturation. Of course, this is a matter of personal taste.

By the way, d3d_disp_no_rgb10_buf shouldn't be in these settings, since it's a bug-correcting hack on some systems and shouldn't impact favourably the look of the game.

Whoa! Some people need to sit back and relax a little bit. This is a matter of taste so there's no need to criticize to a point that seems like bullying. I for once like Stixsmaster's tweaks and I'll be trying some of that. It's a matter of taste so get into it and move on.

I also like StickmasterHDs settings. Sadly my hardware won't allow HDR, the game will get too slow.

IIRC, the comments in cam_ext refer to either the 10-bit or floating point buffer modes as HDR. I really wish it didn't do that.

As you can tell not much of a visual difference for this game, just slightly better shadowing. Only thing I really notice is it has a bigger performance impact. So yeah no need for that unless someone can patch a more optimized actually well-working shader for that.

And the rest of the pics I deliver will be with HDR off as I can't handle the performance impact. I can but it annoys me.

In all honestly no I havent done anymore special tweaking to my cam_ext.cfg. I do however plan to release an HD video of me playing the first few years of this game(the training years). To show peeps this wonderful game on my channel.

My gameplay videos jest to let all know will not include any CGI videos since I already released all those onto my channel. Think I may after I make my vids and postem I will puttem all into a single playlist on my channel linking them together with the cgi videos on my channel.
