Kind of ridiculous, I know... but I can't find the ORIGINAL artwork for bioshock before it was totally remade. I'm talking about the mutated human-insect hybrids in the old ww2 bunker feeding off of creatures that gathered plasmids, etc. etc.  I looked for 20 mins and can't find a single pic anywhere on the net.  Do I suck that much at searching google?

Found those three here at TTLG, originating from a 2004 Gamespot article. I thought there were other screenshots of bunker corridors but I may not remember correctly.
This feature also shows small, intriguing concept screenshots of the first iteration of Bioshock.

It's always in the last place you look.  I knew this would end in Fail...

Sigh... I wish this had been the game we were given.  As soon as they changed the synopsis, I knew I liked the old one better.

O/T: Oh boy. This explains nicely why I dislike Bioshock so much.

Quote by Ken Levine:
The shooter market simply will not bear overly complex interfaces.

Thou shall not have to deal with an overly complex inventory system.

System Shock 2 featured a bewildering variety of Windows-like interface screens that the player had to manage.

System Shock 2 made a huge mistake: we dumped all the complexity on the player from moment one. Bioshock will address this issue.

I guess they were successful in their reach of the "shooter market" though.
