Ello all! Just a quick news update, development has not stopped, just slowed way down. I've been revamping a few maps for another game that I can't mention here, but I'll be back to working on this full swing in the next few weeks. I'm also working on a few small issues with Shock2 in Linux, mainly saving and loading levels takes a long long time, and this also makes portalizing take a really long time. I haven't looked deep into this issue yet, but I've been working around it.

I'll have something new to show off soon! I started playing Shock2 to just test it in Linux and...well...I got addicted again, and I've been making my way through Med\Sci :x but all its doing is showing me some neat things I forgot about that I want to implement and change in my FM.

The actual portalizing is quick, but any writing or reading from a file is what takes the longest. I will try this however! Thanks!

Edit- Changing winecfg settings for ShockEd.exe to Windows XP mode fixed this delay, saving and portalizing are very fast now.

This went down the tubes when I lost EVERYTHING on my pc (and pc) because tornados are a bitch... Maybe I'll do something with it again someday.

Engineering is a nice place where you can post stuff no matter how unfinished it is. it's a good way of making sure it won't be lost forever once the sh!t hits the fan.

As is online storage like mega.nz or dropbox (both of these can automatically sync a directory or file).
