All energy weapon projectiles have been upgraded to emit appropriately colored light, and explode in a pretty shower of sparks when they hit something.

ZylonBane is the one really working on these things, he got his hands dirty so he is the only one entitled to define what they are, how they look and how they behave, and the people that are doing nothing and simply waiting for his work have no rights to contribute with their stupid ideas.

 The missile was a good upgrade. The laser is fine as is. It shoots a short laser, but I guess you could make it flashier... not really necessary though.

yeah. also, as mentioned quite a few times before, SS2's lasers are not real lasers, but movie (or star wars) lasers.
