to be fair, he did submit a few proper bugreports a while ago.

but to answer his request, currently, there is nobody who has the time and/or skill to improve the effect. vurt is busy with other mods and ZB is already doing triple shifts on SCP. so, what Kolya said;

yeah. and correct, it's quite lowres, but as it's on the screen for just a couple of milliseconds a time, 99.99% of people will not notice (unless they manage to make a screenshot at exactly the right moment).
