UNN Atropos: good idea, I'll stick the reference somewhere!  :D

Currently, the dojo map is visited only in the Twist ending sequence: you are awarded this extra map for never using weapon trainers, before the ending video proper. In 2.0, Goggles will always:

- Beat Shodan with the ICE rapier in the "Where am I?" level
- Evacuate cyberspace through the exploding dojo level
- End up in Shodan's trap on the fake Earth

All the three levels are going to be tweaked to be more reminiscent of the Cyberspace levels. The Dojo is already done (just ignore the pixellated explosions and the wrong turret sounds!):

Here's the follow-up to the previous video. Goggles and Marie have reunited, escaping Cyberspace. Shodan tries to separate and capture them, but Goggles breaks free and the two of them share a brief memory before mounting the final assault. These are variations of 3 older maps: "Dojo" can now be flown in, as all Cyberspace maps; "Earth" has been repurposed to be non-linear; "Infinite" is  a new tear map ,with a boss fight (puzzle-ish) that's an expanded version of the one for the Prequel end. Below you also have the final version of that fanart, which is going to be featured in 2.0.

That would be the argentinian artist, I'm italian actually! Here's the updated "14 years ago" level. I wasn't sure if it was better off unchanged (since it really is a flashback from vanilla) or like the Cyberspace levels (for consistency later). So I turned to my friend Michael Bay for direction.

As you might remember, I was caring after a relative in dire health conditions. Unfortunately she has left us tonight. :( Development of the mod will take a setback for a while. I will release the new maps later separately, later we'll see.

Thank you Kolya, these are very tragic days. It struck suddenly, and even if we had been at it for months that final crisis was shocking and unprecedented (the doctors were fucking wrong) and everything we knew of our relative safety blew away. :( One might think that we had it coming a long way, but the risk situation was assested badly to us, and we were focused on the here and now.

As mentioned, I'd like to finish the job but I can't sit down every evening for it anymore. I will have to rely on Captain LKL and our "historical" testers a bit more, even if I am still forcibly the one tanking Shocked. :( The following video shows the last work I had done: the "Where am I?" level is specially important in Infinite, having influenced basically the entire story premise, and shaped the whole Cyberspace expansion (also there's a part that inspired the open\fragmented tear map!). It used to contain the unlock mechanism to get the different endings, but now the unlock is invisible and spread across more maps. Now the level is just focused on telling its share of the story. It's Cyberspace, so you can fy and meet the usual cyber denizens. As usual, the goal is to find the ICE Rapier, but this time you have to deal with the risky "Decompiled EXE"... which can either recompile into an enemy, or a device.

Below you have the okudagram detailing the rise of difficulty through the levels, and the updated title card for the mod. Recently I decided to just go for the throat and rework the story of the Many in Infinite altogether. Fortunately it won't take much time to do so, as this overwritse the old Many events directly and the new voice actors are hard workers! :-)

Essentially, you will find the tormented minds of the Many that beg you for release, just like the hybrids do: among them, Captain Diego will recognize yourself and you two will gradually gain enough strength to compromise Korenchkin's hold on the collective.

I'm currently adding the human foes and allies, that will pepper the decks when you choose some of the tears.  As you can see from the info text above, choosing the Marie tear will rebuild the favorable timeline from 1.0 and all safehouses on the decks will be manned by allied marines (+Marie speech); taking the Many tear will turn all corpses into lootable eggs (+Korenchkin speech); while entering the Shodan tear will net you cybermodules, to be found on the hostile marines that will be sent after you by Cortez. I had originally planned for Shodan to just reward you some modules via radio, but Cortez's alternative allows for another sidestory, and doesn't make choosing the Shodan tear an act of pure villainy.

The new scripts are inbound and I'm gonna have to ask for your help once more. It's about grammar, flow... you guys know a better english than I do. :P Goggles is going to receive an extra log; Diego and Korenchkin will replace the Many altogether; Cortez will join the rest, as your hunter.

Here is the Assimilated Diego script. Also, I updated the Korenchkin script above. Any feedback, or fix is welcome (grammar, flow etc). This one was particularly crazy to develop, as it replaces the entirety of the Many's lines in the whole game. In the end, Infinite Diego is a cross between Captain Hornblower, colonel Trautman from Rambo and Mickey from Rocky. Compare that to Korenchkin who is Cenobyte Andrew Ryan, and Cortez who is every space marine that ever existed.

So, what's happened to the Many in 2.0? What survived of the planned "Song of the Many" expansion, to make their faction more approachable? If anything, the concept has been expanded: the Many aren't monsters, but a collective dominated by the evil presence of Korenchkin. He's the Father who runs the chorus, compared to the machine-mother who birthed them. Korenchkin manipulates them through fear and the worst of human nature. The last of the crew not to be completely subjugated by his will is the Captain, who asks you to save the others and diminish Korenchkin's hold over the chorus.

I'm currently implementing the (hundreds of) codecs through the levels, where character portraits pops up as they speak. I really like the one where Marie warns you of an alternate Goggles around, who has the Quantum Chip A, and the next thing you know he's contacting you himself.

i rly want to make more music and play the mod to shoot some more new ideas
but im tied atm, i must find a job asap and a stable place to live
currently holding this night in the house of a friend so i wont sleep in uncomfortable solid floor today

Thank you for the encouragement, I need some these days. Here is how Cortez sounds like in 2.0, voiced by Bikerdude.

What is happening, is that Goggles has taken a tear to the past and created a predestination paradox. Marie is supposed to answer along the lines of "We have gone too far back!" and "They got us surrounded!", but those haven't been recorded yet.

Hm, comrades, I have a bug here. After I return from the monorail with the override card to the crew quarters, the level is completely refreshed and degraded back to vanilla, as far as I can judge by the monsters, their hp, absent map-changes, non-exploding recharge stations and reusable, once more, upgrade terminals. I would not complain too much (who would refuse free cyber-modules, while playing Infinite on Infinity), but when I try to use the elevator, the game ultimately crushes. Could you give any suggestions?
