Aww man, I just read that Bohren & Der Club Of Gore are playing on Wednesday in a church right around the corner, but it's already sold out. The only concert of their tour that is sold out! (Lord have mercy!) I might go there anyway and listen from outside.

Just do the backdoor stolen staff outfit thing. You don't only get to listen to their music, you will also meet them backstage and have a big party with them.

A technically interesting discussion about how SS1 managed to display rooms over rooms despite being a tile map engine:

I thought SS1 didn't have any rooms over rooms. Just lots of clever architecture that made it seem that way.

If you're referring to the platforms, those are just physics objects.

Yeah, there's no rooms upon rooms in Shock. The bridges are as close as it gets. I've only played Shock 1 all the way through once mind you, but it's clear from the level design. And agreed, there's plenty nice attempts to create the illusion that there is no such limitation. The Bridge map/level 9 is the best example of this.

I see. So anyone wants to correct him on reddit then?
Don't just stand around. Someone is wrong on the internet!

I vaguely remember Marc LeBlanc explaining that in his (sadly unfinished) playthrough. Just smokes and mirrors, like JoinUs said.

I found this in my neighbourhood.

Somehow todays nighttime is dreary, weary and gloomy. Just the right time for this two songs.

Wasn't sure what to make of this one, but the amazing video (short "making of" text) won me over and now I like it.

That's a really nice show concept and I like the way it's presented!
6744de21b7cb2
It helps that the guy has this Stephen Fry kind of funny uncle personality. But I do wish they would just roll it without any cuts. That's a defining feature of (dis)assembling stuff - the loss of any sense of time and complete focus on the problem at hand. As a show it would be more like train rides or space night.
Anyway, it's fun to watch.
6744de21b7d91
Agreed but I guess they would have a hard time getting the show sold.

Yeah, but they could just put the long version online as they are filming it anyway.
Man, I miss the old BR logo :(

 SPAM! https://soundcloud.com/kolya33/welcome-back-to-citadel-station-guitar SPAM!

Small thing I did a while ago. The filedate says ‎Thursday, ‎13. ‎June ‎2002, ‏‎10:51:50 which seems about correct.
