good and bad are completely artificial concepts to begin with, highly subjective, and pretty much impossible to define.

Bill Gates has been responsible for a lot of ripping people off during his active MS-years. For the longest time his company has been notorious for aggressively trying to gain or maintain a monopoly in several areas by means often considered ruthless. Many people would trace this behaviour back to the very beginnings of DOS - being a rip off of  CP/M, Apple's Mac and Linus Thorvalds' Linux.

That explains the philosophy of the Microsoft Xbox Division then.

Bill Gates was misunderstood. He only ripped off people to give to the poor!

Wow, that was fast. Thanks a lot!

Edit: well, what are the odds. I just watched this http://thepunkeffect.com/flea-market-madness-vol-24/ and at 2:26 there are two of these things. :)

I'm just posting here to make sure that ZylonBane knows about the British cartoon series Monkey Dust which I just watched two episodes of. He probably does. For everyone else I recommend Wander over Yonder. wheeee!
And for Join uss! I got the Deep House Cat podcast series, RSS feed is here. I like this stuff for listening during work, though when actually listening to music I'm from the 60s, the time of Louie Louie and Loopy Lou. And I know we can't have those times back again, but we can have parties like they were then.

In that case I'm looking forward to our verdict!

I'm British and I've never heard of the cartoon either. I'm also reluctant to watch another recommendation of yours after The Dish.
I did like the film, but it certainly is no a classic. It could just be me though, as I looked up a number of reviews after the recommendation and they were all very favorable.

You're correct to be cautious. However this is just house music, similar to the galaxy pic video you posted, but on a regular schedule. I think you'd like it.

I posted drum & bass. You can trace a portion of its roots back to house music but there is a notable difference. Still, I like almost any genre, depends on the individual track in question. I'll give those a listen tomorrow.

Before Drum & Bass there was Jungle, including beautiful classics such as this one:

Heh, you got me. When I grew up this music was called techno. I listened to stuff like KLF's Justified & Ancient and SmartE's Sesame Street and it was all in good fun. Later I learned to recognise breakbeats, thanks Prodigy! Nowadays there's like hundreds of genres and the best I know is that: If there's someone singing, it's probably house. Hahah. Ah well, I'll just go back to calling it techno then, over here in the old peoples corner. *shakes stick*

That's when that sort of music was the best stuff out there. Used to be some great radio stations over here that played that stuff all day long.

I still have a soft spot for that sort of music. "Jesus on E's" for example. "Open Your Mind" by U.S.U.R.A. Some goodies that spring to mind.

I've tried to replicate that sort of style in my own music.

Sorry Sir Tim but the cat videos, social networking sites and corporate & government rule reign supreme now.
Still consists of documents I guess but surely not what he had in mind.
