Also, if you don't start listening to all the logs you're picking up, you are going to be completely lost when you get farther into the game. Practically everything you've been confused about so far has been explicitly explained, if you'd just bother to pay attention. I mean, jesus, it took you tripping a security alert like four times before you even noticed the huge, beeping, color-coded security cameras.

general rule of the the 'net is, if you don't want people to share and view your stuff, don't make it available. the op gives him full credit, that's as good as it gets.

it would be different if someone from here were planning to edit and reupload his video to some other place, but that's not the case.

Well, I certainly didn't expect any sort of uproar about this.

I'm not against posting or embedding my videos.  Perhaps I gave the wrong impression.  I just meant that it would be good etiquette if someone would let me know about it, maybe in a quick video page comment, perhaps.

Additionally, I'm perfectly aware I'm playing the game like a "noob".  Perhaps I just wasn't in the right mood when I started, but I just didn't feel like reading all the logs, even though I knew they would be important. *shrug*

If I decide to continue playing I'm perfectly fine with you guys posting the videos here.  Just let me know in a comment when you do so I can come see.

Finally, I am thankful for the promotion of my video, so I didn't mean to sound rude about it originally.  When I started my channel I didn't care about popularity but I've reached a point where I am trying to build an audience.  If you guys don't mind me linking back to my channel, I'd like you to check it out if you have time.  http://youtube.com/vertplaysgames

Couple of things--

- You can make the in-game HUD bigger. I don't remember the exact setting, but search in cam_ext.cfg for a comment regarding HUD scaling.
- Read the Newbie's Guide.

When I first started doing this list I thought about that. But here is why I'm lucky I didn't do it:

See? That's a lot of let's plays. It would be about 746 messages now, not counting the canceled ones, that I would have written up to this point.
746 times of asking, keeping track of answers that might never come in or months later etc. And I want to post them while they are still "hot" so that people can watch right from the beginning, giving tipps and enjoy...
And it is rather time consuming to find the runs, find out about their specifics (language, version, blind, modded, coop) and put them up here (last thing takes about 30 seconds alone.
And the "database" has to be maintained, too. Checking if videos are still up, what the progress is and so on. Multiply that with 746+...man what am I doing with my time^^).
