I've already offered this respected reviewer some criticism in regards to this video. Those minor points aside it is a good review.

that was actually pretty nice. bonus points for;

-not screwing up aspect ratios
-mentioning systemshock.org, mouselook mod and SSP
-doing most, if not all the homework
-having a presentable voice
-NOT showing his face in the video

Given SS1's obscurity, that's a damn fine review. The control issue is a little bit overblown, though, also hardware requirements were a big factor (maybe the biggest) in SS1's mediocre sales.

yeah. also tried to watch some of his LttPs (Lets try to Plays), but those are pretty much the definition of how to NOT make LPs, trying to be smart, funny and interesting, and ending up stupid, annoying and boring.

well, at least I found out that there is a leaked beta of Resident Evil 2 floating around the 'net (dubbed RE 1.5, supposedly source code included), so it was not all in vain I guess.

If I search for any game related material on YT, I always add -"Let's Play". Being stuck in a room watching LPs 24/7 is a pretty good approximation of hell for me.
