Hello,

I have bought SS2 second hand from the internet because this is the best game for me.

So installed it and upgraded it to Version 2.3. When it starts up, the intro and the menu goes well.

But when the game is loaded and want to leave the metro , the game hangs up :dropsdead:.

I already figured it out that it is the sound and not the video because I could disable the sound in the cam.cfg file  by setting sfx_device to 0 iso 1.

If I then run the game, there is no hangup anymore.

I already tried to upgrade my Realtek HD audio drivers to v1.8 ( Octobre 2007 ) but it
still hangs up!

Could anyone please help me!

Greetings

Miguel

You have a dualcore processor on that laptop. Use the Multiprocessor fix from the SS2Tool.

:biggrin:The game is not hanging up anymore. Thank you.

Just a small remark : The movement is a little bit jerky now.

If by "jerky movement" you mean that it goes too fast, try forcing on v-sync from your graphics card settings.
If it's stop-and-go (low framerate) you could try deactivating some mods if you have a lot installed. Possibly the graphics card can't keep up.
