When the cutscene plays in Polito's office, walls come up and prevent you from leaving the platform. After the cutscene ends, there is a short period of time where you are still blocked from leaving down the corridor. But, if you start swinging your Laser Rapier at the invisible wall, you can destroy an egg that no longer appears to be there. A grub pod organ and some egg fragments will drop down to the floor.

So what is the story with the extra ICE Pick on the Many level? It isn't in the vanilla game, but it is in SCP. Since you removed most of the devices, I don't get why you added this one so late in the game.

If yout get it so late in the game, there is a much lower chance to spend it on something trivial instead of the intended target, Shodan's shields. Together with the last-minute pick you can get by ascending the central column structure in Where Am I?, there's a very fair chance even for noobs to deactivate two of the three shields which is more than enough to create large gaps to fire through.

Also, it may not be available on all difficulties, I didn't check.

Expecting newbies to get that ice pick up on the central column seems a bit optimistic. Plus, the new ice pick is setup to appear on all difficulties.

Interesting theory anyway. Is it based on fact or supposition? I don't recall any mention of adding that ice pick to the many map in any of the docs for either scp or adaob. Plus it is located right next to the body with the cyber modules that have been mysteriously modded to disappear on higher difficulties, so I suspect it is a mistake.
