Currently, I am trying to make a top-down version of System Shock 2, but I have absolutely no skill in sprite design. So, is there anyone out there that can makes some sprites (player, hybrids, crates, etc.) that I can use to continue developement?

Sadly this community is missing someone with that kind of skills.
And snapping top down pictures of the models in game wouldn't be satisfying.

Eh, that's what I thought when I asked. Oh well then.

Is it intended to be a video game?

As an alternative you might just look for some sprite database and just edit some sprites.
Changing some colours and adding some details seems to be a lot easier than creating from scratch

Yeah, it would be a good idea to just make your own thing and keep SS2 closely in mind when working on it.
For instance have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iji
"Iji is described by Remar as System Shock 2 in 2D."

I'll take that into consideration. Thanks!

I suggest that you first create a working prototype, proof-of-concept of the type of game you are aiming at, using so-called "programmer art" (essentially placeholders until something better comes along). If you show that you are serious about this and got the basic game mechanics down (it would be enough to have one simple room where you can walk around in and maybe shoot a gun), then I might be willing to put my skills to use to create top-down versions of SS2 assets (I already made some rooms and crates for my boardgame version).

This is the kind of thing I'm talking about:

(The character sprite is mine, all other art is ripped from Dreamweb)
